The Gold-Plated Wand (or Rods, Staves) - The Wand Talisman is a powerful magical tool. In the hands of one who practices magic, it aids in the casting of spells, summoning spirits, and transforming aspects of objects or beings. The wand is also helpful for directing and manifesting the user's intentions and willpower. In the tarot, wands are associated with the element of Fire. The suit typically indicates creativity, inspiration, ambition, and personal growth. Wands are linked to the spiritual and energetic aspects of life.
The Gold Cup (or Chalices) - The Gold Cup Talisman is the miniature version of a magical ritual tool. This chalice is a potent container for divine energy. It also embodies spiritual enlightenment, eternal life, regeneration, and the power to heal. In the tarot, cups are intimately connected with the element of Water. Cups symbolize emotions, relationships, love, and intuition. This chalice is a kindred spirit with the emotional and subconscious realms.
The Iron Sword with Sheath - This talisman comes to the reader in its sheath. It exemplifies the sword of power and authority. It’s the deliverer of truth, justice, protection, and defense. In the Minor Arcana, the sword is associated with the element of Air. The magical tool embodies intellect, thought, communication, and conflict. Swords are often allied with the mental and intellectual aspects of life, including challenges and decision-making. PLEASE NOTE: You will receive one of 6 different sword designs (likely not the sword pictured). All of them are beautifully detailed.
The Silver Coin (or Pentacles, Disks) - Made of genuine elemental silver, this magical item is an authentic Mercury-Head dime, minted sometime between 1916 and 1945. It’s a coin, but it’s also much more than just a piece of currency; it carries with it a wealth of symbolic and magical significance, particularly in Western Mystical traditions. The silvery disc draws on the mystical attributes of Mercury/Hermes. Its argentic body harkens back to the Hermetic alchemists of old, who believed this was the enchanted metal “whose rays shine inward.” They called it “Luna, Diana, Argentum, the White Queen, and the Mirror of Wisdom.” In line with the Minor Arcana, coins symbolize material aspects of life, such as wealth, work, physical health, and the tangible world. On an outward level, coins are equal to the physical and practical realms.
The Box of Holding. Each set of Talisman’s comes inside a hand-made box that’s 100% wood. It has metal hinges and clasps. Each box is individually finished, using the four elements. The all-natural stain is a formulation of black tea, white vinegar, and steel. The solution was then cooked over Fire. Next, the boxes were dipped one at a time and then air-dried in the sun. The top of each box is hand-printed with the Crowley & Waite logo design using environmentally safe Akua intaglio soy ink. The box edges are adorned with a gold-colored hand rub.
PLEASE NOTE: Every box is unique in its color, grain pattern, and hand-applications. Each has its own texture and degree of rust (yes, there is rust). No two boxes are the same!
